Foundation Supports Charity Event

On Sunday May 30th The Community Sports Foundation was pleased to support a Pre World Cup - EX Pro Charity Football Tournament in aid of CLIC Sargent and The Sickle Cell Society.

The Event created and hosted by The Foundations very own Business Ambassador, Cheryl Saunders Atkinson saw a host of former Professional Football Players team up with 12 amateur corporate teams to compete for there very own World Cup.

The Foundation was pleased to provide the event with 8 fully qualified referees who helped to increase awareness of the Foundation and our work by wearing specially created Kit.

The event was an extremely exciting day with a funfair for spectators along with guest appearances from UK musician Mclean who performed his Top 10 selling hit 'My Name'. As you would expect there was also some very competitive matches on show which all helped to raise money for some very worth while causes.
